Our journey

School history

From humble beginnings to a thriving five-streamed school serving nearly 1,000 students.

St Martin's Mwibale Senior School is a County, mixed day and boarding school located in Bungoma South Sub-County. It began in 2001 as a Sub-County school with fewer than 50 students. The school is Catholic-sponsored, under the Catholic Diocese of Bungoma.

The founding Principal was Madam Emily Muhonja, under whose leadership the school laid its academic and spiritual foundations. Over the years, the school continued to grow — expanding to the current five-streamed setup with approximately one thousand students.

The current Principal is Mr. Kennedy Kilaha, who continues to steer the school toward greater academic and co-curricular achievement.
